Eyime helps the whole property value chain communicate and keeps each role player updated on their responsibilities. Crucial to making Eyime work for you is by customising the operator names for the various role players and outlining the organisational needs they fulfil.
PROPERTY MANAGER
The principal user that subscribes to Eyime is often the property manager. This could be a property management firm or an individual owner who manages their own property. They create other users and are also able to rename the system name of the those other users to customise their workspace.
OPERATORS
Operator is a role created by property managers. This person will fulfil many of the same functions as the property manager. Their role can be set up with a unique set of responsibilities to match their job description. They can be renamed agents, staff, officials and so on. Each operator can be assigned a portfolio of properties to fully customise their role.
OWNERS
Owners is an optional field. We consider an owner to be the relationship owner. This may mean they are a property owner who has tasked a property manager with managing a property they own, or they could be a trustee, the director of a residential scheme, a employee of a company that owns property etc. Anyone who needs an overview of the process but is not tasked with managing the process themselves. They can view messages, maintenance tickets and documents but cannot create any details nor send a message. This role is for someone who needs to be kept informed. Some users have renamed it investor, trustee, general manager and director.
TENANTS
Tenants are people or entities who use the property. They may be traditional tenants in a fixed property. They may also be someone else who has possession of a property in that they work there every day, or are the residents in a residential estate. Tenants can be renamed client, resident, homeowner, neighbor, community member, park ranger, groundskeeper, cleaner, facilities manager and more.
SERVICE PROVIDeRS
Service providers are firms or people that undertake services. From electricians or plumbers to daily service providers such as cleaning companies. The service provider roles are created and assigned to a property by the property managers or operators. While a maintenance ticket is open, they can send and receive messages on the message chain. Service providers are often renamed after the maintenance companies.
TECHNICIANS
Technicians are the staff of the service providers. Their roles are not created by the property manager but by the service providers themselves. The service providers are then able to add them to a maintenance ticket for messaging purposes. They are the people on site, acting on behalf of the service providers.
